Counselling Services

You do not have to 'fit into a box' to begin.

People come to counselling for many different reasons—sometimes with a clear issue, and sometimes with a quiet sense that something needs attention. You might be experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of your next step. In our work together, we create space to explore what’s coming up for you, at your pace, in a way that feels safe and meaningful. While I welcome clients with a wide range of experiences, there are a few areas where my lived experience and training allow me to offer deeper, more focused support.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out.

Whether you’re navigating something clear or just feeling that something isn’t quite right, you are welcome here.

This is where we gently guide - not limit.

You may find yourself in one of these spaces

—or somewhere in between.

General Therapy

I offer support for a wide range of life challenges that don’t always fit into one specific category.

Clients often come to this space to work through:

    •    Relationship dynamics and communication

    •    Stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm

    •    Self-worth

    •    Patterns that feel hard to shift

    •    A general sense of feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based therapies while creating a space that feels human, not clinical—where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with honesty and support.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you begin.

South African Expats

Living between countries can shape your identity in profound ways.

Whether you’ve recently immigrated or have been away from home for years, you may carry a complex mix of loss, resilience, cultural tension, and questions of belonging.

As someone who has walked this journey personally, I offer a space where your story doesn’t need translation.

Faith, Identity and Meaning

You may be holding questions about your faith, your identity, or the meaning structures that once

grounded you.

This could look like spiritual growth, faith deconstruction, or simply a quiet shift in what you believe and how you see yourself.

Together, we can explore these questions with curiosity, respect, and without pressure to land in a

specific place.

Grief and Life Transitions

Grief is not limited to the loss of a loved one.

It can emerge through many forms of change—loss of identity, relationships, health, direction, or

even a version of life you once knew.

I offer a space to process both the pain and the meaning within these transitions, helping you

gently find your way forward.

How We Work Together

My approach is client-centered, strength based, relational, and grounded in both lived experience and evidence-based practices.

I integrate modalities such as:

  •  Existential Therapy (exploring meaning and identity)

  • CBT; ACT (working with thought patterns and behavior)

  • DBT (emotional regulation and coping skills)

  • Somatic Therapy (connecting body sensations to emotional healing)

  • Narrative Therapy (understanding and reshaping your story)

Above all, our work is guided by what you need.
